If the Kaulitz twins took his last name as well is unknown.] Nickname: None; he says he doesn’t need any as his name is short enough. Occupation: Singer / song-writer. Date of Birth: September 1, 1989. Zodiac Sign: Virgo. Place of Birth: Leipzig [Germany]. Place of Residence: He travels between Loitsche where his parents stay, Hamburg where the bands studio is and Berlin where he has an apartment he shares with Tom. Height: 1,88cm [6′2″] Weight: Around 52kg [117 lbs] Hair Colour: Naturally dirty blonde, but dyes his hair pitch black. For awhile he had blonde/silver highlights, but now he has everything all black again. Eye Colour: Brown. Siblings: Twin brother Tom which is 10 minutes older than he is. Mother: Simone Kaulitz, a freelance tailor and artist. Father: The twins biological father, a truck driver named Jörg Kaulitz separated from their mother when the twins were about 6-7 years old. The twins remained in the care of their mother and her new partner Gordon Trümper, a guitarist in the rock band Fatun who inspired the twins to start doing music. He also owns a music school called “Rock’s Cool”. School: The twins left school at the age of 15 as they were constantly on tour. Originally there were only supposed to have time off from school for a year, but left it completely in the end. They started taking classes from an online school, meaning they had the material sent home where they would work on it, and then send it back to get marked. Around the end of 2007 they successfully graduated and got their “Realschulabschluss” diploma, which would be the same as having a high school graduation. Bill’s grades was altogether a “1,8”, which would almost be a straight A to B. Favourite Subject in School: He says he has none. Hated Subjects in School: He hated everything that had to do with school. Hobbies: He likes partying, shopping, singing and music in general. His Idol: He doesn’t have one. He always wanted to be his own person and not follow the rules and regulations of someone else. He does however have people that inspire him. Personality: He is very open-minded, friendly, egoistical, extremely talkative, ambitious, sensitive and romantic. He describes himself as an “insider” [German: “Drinni”], because he’d rather spend time slouching inside of the house than go outside and get some fresh air. He’s not a fan of exploring nature.
